Oregon combines the best of both worlds for great Pinot Noir. The wines have the complexity of flavor, fruit and savory, and length that you find in great Burgundy. They also have an added fruit component that make the wines brighter and more accessible. I was always concerned about their ability to age. I recently went to a tasting of cellared Oregon Pinot's and I can tell you the wines that age and develop in the bottle superbly.

The 2016 Resonance Pinot Noir has all these qualities in spades. From the great Yamhill Carlton Appellation that makes some of Oregon's finest and most expensive Pinot Noirs. Last years release was on Wine Spectator's Top 100 and received exactly the same score of a large 93pts. Rsonance is Maison Louis Jadot's first wine project outside of Burgundy, France, since our founding in 1859. Many of the finest Burgundian producers have chosen to make wine in Oregon. Others Drouhin ,Comte Liger Belair, Domonique Lafon, and Meo Camuzet are making great wines in the Willamette Valley. This is a single vineyard bottling from the tree lined Resonance Vineyard. From un grafted vines first planted in 1981, the result is a wine of superb elegance and complexity. The Resonance project is led by famed Jadot Winemaker, Jacques Lardiere, who takes 42 years of experience in winemaking from the beautiful Pinot Noirs of Burgundy to the world's most up and coming Pinot Noir regions. Pinot lovers you will love this wine.

TASTING NOTES: Precise and impressively structured, with refined raspberry, crushed rock and savory tea accents that take on richness and depth toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2024
