King Estate, celebrating 20 years of Oregon winemaking in 2011, is located southwest of Eugene, Oregon and produces Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and limited amounts of Chardonnay. Founded in 1991 by the King family, King Estate is committed to producing Oregon wines of exceptional quality using organic & sustainable farming methods, meticulous fruit selection, impeccable winemaking practices and judicious blending. The beautiful estate of 1,033 acres is certified organic and includes 470 acres of organic vineyards, as well as 30 acres of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The Estate is crowned by the charming, European style winery, where the winemaking process is also certified organic.

TASTING NOTES: Wine Enthusiast 91 points- Sophisticated and complex, this brings well structured layers of citrus juice, flesh and rind. It offers a delicate herbal touch and a lingering finish. As the wine evolves in the glass, a tasty hint of honeysuckle emerges..December/2017

Wine & Spirits 93 points- Maybe it's the vintage, or the wine's youth, but this estate gris from King is dramatically precocious, exhibiting not just an exuberance of fruit, but complex lees character as well, in its spice, minerality and savor. The wine's apple scents meld with brioche and meaty cured bacon notes. It's brisk on attack but turns mineral almost immediately, with a kind of talc like grip to the texture that's sure to cause hunger pangs; for halibut crudo. (1,700 cases).December/2017
