Love Big Reds, This Is A No-Brainer, 93pts James Suckling, 94pts Parker at $25.99, Drinks Like A Million Bucks

This is a world class big red at a great price. The brothers Michelini are taking the wine world by storm. Robert Parker stated that their “creativity seems to have no limits.” They are making groundbreaking wines in Argentina focusing on a tiny region called Gualtallary in Valle de Uco that insiders know is the best micro region in all of South America. The brothers used a unique process to make this wine, fermenting the wine in egg-shaped cement vats. Many believe that this process is the finest way. The most expensive red wine in the Domaine Romonee Conti uses this very same process. With no corners, the wine is free to circulate naturally during fermentation, and you can actually watch the wine move during this process of constant stirring. The shape also forces more of the cap to remain submerged, gleaning the utmost in fruit flavor and color for your wine and reducing your need for "punch down".

2015 Zorzal Eggo Tinto de Tiza is an absolutely spectacular example of Malbec. Marveslously rich and concentrated with a superb silky texture, integrated tannins totally hidden in the wine opulence. The wine got a huge 96pts by Decanter and a massive 94pts by Parker. The wines regularly sells for $34.99 and I can get it down to $25.99 by the case, saving you 26% and making this is tremendous buy. Want the richness of great Napa Cabs at half the price. This is your wine. Wine will sell out, first come first served.

93pts James Suckling; 94pts Parker

Parker’s WA: The 2015 Eggo Tinto de Tiza is a blend from three different vineyards in Tupungato Winelands in Gualtallary. It's a blend of mostly Malbec with some Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. There are violets, plums, dark cherries and something earthy. This is slightly riper than the 2013. The medium-bodied palate has is fresh with a silky texture, pure flavors and a mineral-driven finish. At this price I'd buy it by the case.
