Inspired by the history of California wines, whose vines
were first planted by the Spanish colonists, Liana Buonanno, founder of
Gooseneck Vineyards, found herself in Europe, scouring the vineyards of the Old
World, once again. Collaborating with a local winemaker, who recently won a
gold medal for his work as the most important red wine producer in Valencia,
she began searching the historical cabernet vineyards of the local farmers for
the fruit to create the Gooseneck Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. The Gooseneck
Vineyard’s goal was to harness the power of the fruit and add the elegance that
every wine delivers.
Perfected at the winery, whose name has been mentioned in
15th century books found in the library of the Medici family in Florence, the
result of our unrelenting work is this Gooseneck Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon.
Gooseneck Cabernet is a timeless classic for any occasion. Full bodied and
graceful, with soft layering notes of strawberries and ripe blackberries, it
finishes with a silky mouth feel.
This wine is a timeless classic for any occasion and an enhancement for any tabletop.
Particularly excellent fit for dark meats, firm cheeses, and hearty pasta
