Tasting Notes: One of the Livermore Valley's most prominent pioneers, Charles Wetmore is honored with our finest expression of the noble Cabernet Sauvignon. Our 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas and flavors of blackcherry, chocolate and hints of brown sugar and spice. With balanced acidity and round mouthfeel, this wine delivers a smooth, long-lasting finish. All three components were fermented in upright stainless steel fermenters. Aged for 20 months in French, American, Eastern European, and neutral oak.

Only 10 cases of the wine made it to the state. 2008 in Napa Valley yielded Cabernet Sauvignon with stunning upfront fruit and unctuous textures, If the vineyard was managed with extreme attention to detail. We were careful and lucky enough to have done the work needed and now find ourselves with a gorgeous wine to present to you.<br><br> The aromatics are ripe and fruity, with sweet spice and chocolate notes not far behind.
