Tasting Notes: Very dark purple color- completely opaque. On the nose the wine showed plum, blackberry and black pepper, as well as a touch of earth. A big wine with chewy tannins, good acidity and layers of plum and dark berry finishing with dash of dried sage and fresh cut cedar. This wine is a great example of Old School style wine – I felt like I could taste the earth from which the grapes were taken. Would love to have this with grilled rabbit and a nice pasta dish. Very good.
