Red Wine Hand-Picked 92 Pts RP r <b>Tasting Notes:</b>The 2004 Dioro is composed of 40% Tempranillo, 40% Garnacha, 10% Graciano, and, surprise, surprise, 10% Macabeo, a white grape. The wine is a barrel selection aged for 12-14 months in new French oak. Valsacro's rendition of Cote-Rotie works just fine. Purple in color, the wine is fragrant with notes of spice box, flowers, blueberry, and assorted black fruits. Smooth-textured, ripe, and lengthy, this is a hedonistic effort to drink over the next 6-8 years.
