Tasting Notes :The 2006 vintage was a fine one for von Schleinitz, with wines dis-playing beautiful finesse and elegance. Konrad's wines are always flattering, with delicious, chewy flavors accentuated by firm and zippy acid levels and the Riesling Apollo is a perfect example of both vintage and von Schleinitz style. Sweet, ripe tangerine hints in the bouquet are broadened by the floral notes of the wine. The satis-fyingly rich flavors yield elements of lemon drop candy, crushed mineral and Juicy Fruit gum which all of which are enhanced by this charming wine's bright, crisp acidity. Irresistibly delicious.
