One of the finest wine portfolios in the world is owned by Wilson Daniels, included are the likes of Domaine Romanee Conti. They are all about quality and representing the absolute finest a region has to offer. They recently started a label that focuses on incredible quality at reasonable prices. They introdued a Pinot Noir that was sourced from Ponzi in Oregon.  Last week they introduced a Chardonnay that is sourced from Carneros and no matter how much I begged they would not tell me the source. The wine however is absolutely awesome for the money. This aromatic Chardonnay captures the essence of Carneros with notes of tropical fruit, peach blossoms and apricots. Subtle minerality, refreshing acidity and oak aging work in harmony to create a wine that is enjoyable as an aperitif or with a wide range of foods. This is the finest quality of classic Cali Chardonnay.
