Tasting Notes: The three grape varieties, while each retaining its own distinct, regional personality, are melded harmoniously in a single wine, which is itself both unique and uniquely complex in its sensory subtlety. Brilliant ruby-red in color, with violet-colored edges, it offers up a wide spectrum of aromas ranging from ripe berries, through plums to spicy, balsamic notes. On the palate, Primovolo is full-bodied and has a surprisingly accomplished sense of balance thanks to the stylish integration of hard and smooth components. The powerful, generous finish has tremendous aromatic persistence, closing amid echoes of almonds and hazelnuts, deriving at least partially from the small French oak barrels in which the three wines are aged.Tasting Notes: Intense ruby red with purple reflections.Round, rich and complex, with scents of ripe raspberry followed by balsamic and cherrynotes.
