When I find myself at some of the best restaurants which does occur from time to time, the first thing I do is see which wines people are drinking. I love to see which wines people are bringing from home and paying corkage on and I am amazed at how often people have brought wines from Robert Sinskey. I believe that Robert Sinkey makes the most popular and finest "foodie" wines in all of California. They have a wonderful old world feel to them, not all fruit and richness but more about depth, complexity and structure. Earlier this year we brought you the Sinskey Rose, Vin Gris which is one of the greatest Roses coming out of California and is superb. Today and equally as good I bring one of the great whites from Sinskey that again is recognized as one of the great white wines made in California today, the 2009 Robert Sinkey Pinot Gris. Not only is the wine spectacular but we can offer it to you of this email at the best price on-line. The wine is rich but light on the palate and superbly clean and pure. The wine is completely organic, sees no oak, creamy and gorgeous, the height of white elegance. Sourced from Sinkeys Three Amigos Vineyard from Los Carneros that is certified organic and Biodynamic. The wine goes through whole cluster press that gently coaxes the juice from the grapes. This is done at a very low temperature to ensure fresh flavors and no bitterness and only 954 cases of this delicious elixir were made. This is dry white wine at its absolute finest.
