Tasting Notes:Manzone’s 2005 Barolo Bricat reveals a floral, high-toned bouquet that leads into dark cherries, plums, spices, sweet herbs and licorice as this firm, classically-built wine opens up in the glass. There is gorgeous depth and clarity here, not to mention terrific energy and minerality, but this medium-bodied, ethereal Barolo needs a few years before it offers its finest drinking.
