Recognized as the leading producer of Pinotage in South Africa. Matured in mainly new 225 litre French Nevers barrels for up to 16 months. This is a full-bodied wine, has a deep ruby colour exuding the flavours of red and black berries, raspberry, plum and hints of banana. Dark and focused, with a juicy core of macerated plum and blackberry fruit layered with sweet spice, fruitcake and aged tobacco notes. Offers solid grip without being rustic.
