Tasting Notes :This wine is made from the Cortese grape in a region more famous for the production of big reds like Barolo, Barbaresco and some Barbera. It's tank-fermented with a lot of floral fruit upfront and a nice dry finish. A brilliant light color, this superb Cortese has a good balance of acidity and fruit with a freshness and delicacy that make it very interesting. Light, sweet, delicately floral nose. Elegant but powerful, with notes of straw and pear. The palate is rich and forceful, with rather rasping acidity but good length.
