This site in Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza is home to 35 hectares of pristine Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, dating back to 1915. The renewal of Goulart began in 1997. Owner Erika Goulart, who inherited the property from her grandfather-in-law, was able to convince renowned agronomist Mauricio Pérez Parody to join the project. Pérez Parody began reworking the vineyard, making sure each plant was properly cropped for quality. Within a year, the work was paying dividends, and they were harvesting perfectly ripe fruit: grapes that made not only for great concentration in the glass, but for wonderfully ripe and supple tannins.
