One Of The Great 2007 Pinot Noirs.

Tasting Notes: The wine is rich all velvet and Saturn. One of the most concentrated Pinots I have tasted both in 2004 and 2007, yet has an elegance and length too match. Tannins are totally integrated. You can spend hours with this wine. It just gets better and better and better. The finished wine reflects the character of the vintage, with intense aromas of blackberry, herbes de Provence and subtle hints of sauvage. The flavors of coffee and pure blackberry, black cherry and plum are lifted by vibrant acidity and culminate in a firm blanket of integrated tannins. Definitely a wine for the ages, the 2007 Dierberg Vineyard Pinot drinks awesomely well now, but will reward patient cellaring for decades to come.
