This is a stylish effort, with super-ripe aromatics and expressive notes of candied red cherries, licorice and sweet toasted oak. Expansive and weighty on the palate, it shows surprising freshness for the vintage and a very finessed personality. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2018. This should not be missed. Scary good!
