Tasting Notes: As usual, this is a delicious northern Medoc, with the 2008 displaying a dense ruby/purple color as well as sweet notes of black fruits intermixed with damp earth, lead pencil shavings, roasted herbs, and spice. Medium-bodied with good flesh, dense fruit, and sweet tannin, it should drink nicely for a decade.

Ripe but restrained, with nicely sinewy embedded, structure carrying solid black currant, black cherry and fig fruit, followed by graphite and sweet earth on the finish.
