Tasting Notes: The estate has a significant number of favourable sites, with well-exposed hillsides, steep slopes and very good soils. Together with his talented vineyard manager and winemaker, Michel Poitout, Jean ferments and finishes his wines in stainless steel, eschewing the use of oak. The resulting wines are pure expressions of Chablis’ terroir with their fine, elegant mineral quality, and lively floral, apple/citrus character. The family tradition is proudly carried on by Jean Durup and his son Jean-Paul. Straw yellow; green apples, minerals, peaches, honey; dry, apple, citrusy, minerally, light body, vibrant acidity, lingering finish.

Fine-scented, floral. Excellent fruit and depth of flavour. Good grip and freshness. Lingering, mouthwatering and moreish.
