I tasted this wine about two weeks ago and I immediately had to get it. The wine hails from Amarone country in the Veneto region and the producer Cesari is well known for the Amarone they produce. Cesari was founded in 1936 and is a leading producer of innovative and traditional Veronese wines. I loved there Boscarel. The next time I throw a party this is the red wine I am going to serve. Extremely approachable, and accesible, brimming with fruit and everyone who loves red wine will be coming back for more. This wine was sprisingly rich and voluptuous with a long smooth finish, extremely pleasuraeble in the mouth and at the price a realy great bottle of red. The wine is a blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Sangiovese that are fermented separately and then blended together. Boscarel is a single vineyard owned by Cesari that lies in the region of Calmisano, on the Verona side of Lake Garda in Veneto. This wine is a crowd pleaser.
