Tasting Notes: 100% Sangiovese. Aged two years in oak botti. Lush, layered, perfumed and mouthwatering. Sensual aromas of crushed raspberries, baked bread, violets, and leather rise up to introduce a structured yet exotic palate of spiced red fruits, black plum, a hint of chocolate, all with a shape and layered elegance that could easily give away its high-end pedigree. Fine tannins produce a very pretty finish. This wine will strengthen during short-term cellaring but is already displaying the superiority of the 94 point 2007 vintage and its luscious ripe fruit.
