Tasting Notes: By law Brunello is aged for three years in oak and then further bottle aged for one year prior to release. The wine is showing extremely well. The bouquet realy opens up with exotic spice, cigar box, violets and tar with lovely vanilla hints coming through. The palate is supple with classic, expressive Sangiovese Grosso plum fruit, tannins are refined and silky on the velvety long finish. I wish I had more of this wine to offer but I do not. This is a great buy!
