Red Wine Hand-Picked 91 Pts Wine Spectator <b>Tasting Notes:</b> The 2006 vintage is a lovely, solid color with dark red, almost purplish-blue highlights. The nose is packed with rich, complex, slightly jammy fruit, plus aromas of roasting and mocha from maturation in wood. It is very fresh, with floral, spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is a crisp, fleshy attack, followed by mouth-filling but not overly hard tannins. The wine grows richer and fatter by the moment but with no loss of elegance.

Red Wine Hand-Picked 95 Pts RP r <font color=red><strong>95 pts Parker </strong></font><br><b>Tasting Notes:</b> Fashioned from a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the 2005 Montrose exhibits huge tannin, powerful floral, blueberry, and cassis flavors, and more weight as well as richness than last year. While surprisingly high in alcohol (13.2%) for a Montrose, that component is nicely balanced by the high tannin and decent acidity. This blockbuster will need a decade or more of cellaring. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2040+.

Full-bodied, with round and chewy tannins, but polished and very pretty and enticing. Big juicy wine with balance. This small estate continues to make excellent wines in top vintages.-J.S.<br>I recently attended the 2009 Bordeaux Grand Vin Tasting in Manhattan and I can tell you this vintage is absolutely insanely good. I had a smile on my face from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The appellation of Margaux dazzled and today I have one of the great wines to offer you. The wine just arrived and will ship immediately. We have the juice! Lower prices I have seen are all sold out or available on a futures bases, not secured and often never filled.<br>The 2009 vintage as a whole in Bordeaux rivals the finest ever. The elegance, delicious fruit, layered textures with impressive structure, integrated tannins and long finishes have resulted in huge praise from Wine Spectator, Robert Parker and Decanter, comparing the vintage to the modern day classics like 2000, 1982, 1961 and 1945. <br>Parker on 2009,2009 may turn out to be the finest vintage I have tasted in 32 years of covering Bordeaux.<br>Spurrier of Decanter on 2009, The best vintage of my life time.<br>The Wine Spectator, The 2009s have the same juicy fruit and rich, round tannins as the 1982, but the wines are better made.<br>Demand for the vintage was like nothing we have ever seen. With the whole Eastern Rim coming into play for the world’s best wines. Prices sky rocketed. I enclose quotes from the New York times: All Quality Wines From This Vintage Have Increased Price Twice Already, Demand Around The World Is Like Nothing We Have Ever Seen Before and 1st Tranche Pricing On Some Wines Has Doubled Since 2005. <br>Unfortunately I only have a small number of cases to offer! Grab as much of this vintage as you can. The wines are awesome!
